So still reeling from having my parents visit. It was surreal to say the least. Having them invade my world, which I rarely invite anyone too was good for Raewyn. One small setback but we powered through. They asked me to do a dedication for her. Now I knew deep down it wasn't going to be what I believe, but I thought it would be nice for them. I wish I would've been included in the wording. Because most of what was said was what they believe in not what we believe in. My Dad said it was just going to be a prayer and I believed him. But it is what it is as always. What we believe in is null and void to what they believe in. Was I angry and sad after? Yes for a brief moment, because this is my daughter not theirs. So I got my 1st lesson in reality as a parent and now understand that I must stand up for how I feel. When it comes to her fuck other people's feelings. Fuck playing nice and letting other people have their way. This is all new to me and just like everyone else I'm learning as I go along. And yes I'll make mistakes but I will never force her into anything she doesn't want to do. So to do it our way, we are dedicating her to what we believe in. More to come. See you space cowboy....
